Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, joined by his deputy Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, LAMATA Managing Director Abimbola Akinajo, Commissioner for transportation Mr. Seun Osiyemi and other stakeholders took a test ride on the LRMT Red Line Talgo train today.
This comes ahead of the official launch of the Red Line infrastructure by the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR next Thursday.
The Governor used the occasion to reiterate his call on residents to remove any obstructions from the railway tracks. This includes structures, waste, and put a stop to commercial activities around the tracks which could impede the smooth operation of the train service.
The train service which connects Agbado- Oyingbo is expected to serve millions of residents along that corridor.
